This is what you know – nothing This is what you know – nothing Any way the wind blows – all coughing This is what you know This is what you know This is what you know Any way the wind blows – you’re locked in Empty all your ring drawers – your coffin Money is your jailer – who’s scoffing Any way the wind blows Any way the wind blows Any way the wind – all coughing This is what you know This is what you know Any way the wind blows This is what you know This is what you know This is what you know This is what you know This is what you know This is what you know This is what you know This is what you know This is what you know

Big Boy 02:51
A little piece of power for you boy A little piece of power for big boy Can I pick a flower for your muscles and your shoes A little piece of power for a big boy A little piece of sunshine for a rainy day A little piece of sunshine makes your pain go away A little piece of sunshine for a big boy A little piece of sunshine for a rainy day A little piece of my heart’s attached to part of her heart I lose myself and I float away A little piece of power for you boy A little piece of power for big boy Can I pick a flower for your muscles and your shoes A little piece of power for a big boy A little piece of my heart’s attached to part of her heart I lose myself and I float away A little piece of chocolate for a good boy Keep your tummy happy like a good boy A little piece of chocolate for a good boy Keep your tummy happy keep it full of joy A little piece of my heart’s attached to part of her heart I lose myself and I float away

Wow, why did you break yourself so bad I’ve never known someone so mad Why did you break yourself so bad Now look at the life that you once had Seeing it disappear’s so sad Why did you break yourself so bad Seeing it just disappear Seeing it just disappear Seeing it just disappear Seeing it disappear’s so sad Look at the greatness that you’ve made You need to forget those who betrayed Look at the greatness that you’ve made And like a soldier on parade You move to the orders you obey What was once now cannot be What was once now cannot be What was once now cannot be What was once now cannot be What was once now cannot be What was once now cannot be What was once now cannot be What was once now cannot be What was once now cannot be What was once now cannot be What was once now cannot be

There are people in this world who don’t grow There are people in this world who choose to go slow My Mother didn’t know and didn’t want to know How people in this world could choose to stay low Marry me oh marry me By the river under a sycamore tree Caring free abide with me A reverie under a sycamore tree There are people in this world who’re good lookers And others who are ugly… But the point is the same whatever looks whatever name That in a hundred years it won’t really matter Marry me oh marry me By the river under a sycamore tree Caring free abide with me A reverie under a sycamore tree And the sycamore tree is a sign for you and me Because before we were born and after we’re gone It was still there and will still carry on Marry me oh marry me By the river under a sycamore tree Caring free abide with me A reverie under a sycamore tree Marry me oh marry me By the river under a sycamore tree Caring free abide with me A reverie under a sycamore tree

Death 05:21
Footsteps on the ground Don't look behind the grim reaper's around Are you scared of death Come on it's only death Don't look behind Only the end there you'll find Don't look behind Who really cares I certainly don't mind I'm feeling a chill Life isn't right When you're munching on pills Like strapped in a chair Wearing a nappy and losing your hair Death's coming around Quicker than planned Not really allowed I'm picking up speed But I cannot lose it Submit and I'm bowed

Coconut Tree 01:50
I would like to be A bird in the sky Or a seahorse in the sea I would like to see A world full of love And a coconut tree I would like to see Who pulled upon me When the coconut fell From the coconut tree From the coconut tree

about

Created in 2015 this was the product of a spontaneous urge one weekday evening to write ten tracks in one night. I had attended a gong bath, an alternative therapy practice, earlier in the day which clearly unlocked some creative desire. Due to the rapidity of the songs' creation there was no time for deliberation over lyrics or heavy editing. As a result of this the lyrics are often basic + juvenile but possibly more representative of the real writer rather than the writer I may want to portray to people.

The recording was done mainly live with Ricky Marshall and Owain Davies being recruited who could cope with a process of learning the songs on the spot and then playing a maximum of three takes to get a very raw spontaneous sound.
