Not included as knowledge of them risks the listener finding an otherwise intense track slightly trivial.

I'm tired but I need to try harder than I do Slowly revealing to me the love I want to know Say your prayers start your rituals Will I be seen married to thee Before the other seduces me When will you let me surrender to you Maybe when I start to try much more than I do Say your prayers start your rituals Will I be seen married to thee Before the other seduces me When will you let me surrender to you Maybe when I start to try much more than I do

Highway dub 04:14
Inside outside on the hard shoulder I can be reckless now I'm older Knocked them down like a set of dominoes Left the crime scene that's the way it goes We're off on the criminal highway I swear it wasn't my way On the highway I'm trippin' out over you babe Here I am in a cell porn adorns the walls Big hairy biker got me by the balls Every night I've got to bend over Grit my teeth until it's over We're off on the criminal highway I swear it wasn't my way Here we go now Oh yeah On the highway I'm trippin' out over you babe On the highway Lovely highway On the highway Lovely highway yeah

Should I ever have you I'd never dedicate myself to you I want you but I don't want you It's a problem I have to face A basic complication makes my life simpler So here we go now Do you like being used Should I tell the truth or leave you confused Got too many feelings for you I can't carry my desires through You would only make love to me If you didn't really love me I'm drawn to you thanks to my father But he didn't have much choice in it either So here we go now Do you like being used Should I tell the truth or leave you confused Got too many feelings for you I can't carry my desires through Oh And did you tell me that I can't run away from myself Don't tell me And I've been told that too many times And never did the belief last still gonna take you home So here we go now Do you like being used Should I tell the truth or leave you confused Got too many feelings for you I can't carry my desires through If I find a reason I hope it will be enough To stop me wanting Don't want to be wanting Get what I want will I see Is it someone else's not for me So here we go now Do you like being used Should I tell the truth or leave you confused Got too many feelings for you I can't carry my desires through Oh And did you tell me that I can't run away from myself Don't tell me And I've been told that too many times And never did the belief last (Billy flast)still gonna take you home

about

Acoustic Groove was originally formed in 1994 when Andrew Yeadon, James Saunders and James Uphill were living as students in the Cadbury's family Manor House in Birmingham. They were later Joined by Dan Shaffer on flute and Ben Byer on djembe. The group gained a certain amount of fame running an open stage at the Hibernian on Pershore road every Sunday night which would always end with a set from the band usually to a full house. Using this as a springboard the group upped their sound with Sunders moving from percussion to full kit to create a live instrument sound taking inspiration from much of the cutting edge electronic music that was around at the time.

They recorded their first EP 'Highway Dub' with UB40 producer Bob Lamb in Kings Heath. They were then joined by Joe Sharp on trumpet to create the definitive AG sound. The band performed regularly around the Midlands and were scouted by EMI who despite loving the band deemed the sound too hard to pigeonhole (The sound would probably just seem normal at a festival today!).

The album Acoustic Groove is a compilation of three live tracks recorded at the Old Varsity Tavern in Stirchley, a track recorded during the night at the school of audio engineering in London by Jez Simon, four tracks recorded in a barn at halfway bridge in North Wales by Nathan Williams and the final track recorded in Ben Byers bedroom.
